LAC: Speaker Help needed...

Well, (MAC) the rally-car project is taking WAY too long.

sigh...5 months with no car is NO fun!!

Dad to the rescue!  My dad says to me "You know, if you insure it, you could
use the VW while you finish your car"

WHAT!?!

So yeah.  As of tomorrow I have the 1975 VW Beetle (deluxe, but not super) on
loan until my rally-car/daily driver project is finished.

SWEET!

The only problem, no stereo.  I'm going to use the deck from my Audi for now
(Kenwood CD player, 40Wx4) but I need to buy speakers.

The VW's in my family do NOT get modified. They retain their value best if
they are kept stock.  So...the speakers are a big problem! (Stock VW's have
ONE 3.5" speaker in the dash).

My Dad's '79 Convertable has some really trick speakers in it.  They're about
6x8" but enclosed in their own case/grill.  They pretty much look like a set
of black computer speakers! (But, I know they aren't) The brand, incedently,
is "David".

Does anyone know who makes fully enclosed speakers I can mount underneath the
dashboard??
