On my '92 100S, the window relay failed, and the symptoms were similar. The
relay (actually its a double relay) was located on the left side of the
driver side footwell behind a trim panel on my 100. I believe it is in a
similar location on the 90. This relay is definitely one to get used, as I
believe it was something like $250 for my 100 (I actually am using one from
a '93 90 I got used for ~$10...works great but does not close the windows
and sunroof with the key in the door lock like the old one did).
