OK guys (and girls),

Sunday I replaced the front pads on the wife's '98 A6QA. The idiot light in=
the dashboard had been on for a couple of months, but she only drives abou=
t 8K miles/year, so I wasn't in any particular hurry to change the pads.

When I finally got around to it, it turned out that there was about 2 or 3 =
mm of material still left on the old ones. I could have waited another mont=
h!

Anyway, the sensor wire to one of the old ones was cut / worn apart. The ne=
w ones had sensors (I have the round ones), and I plugged them in.

The problem is, that the idiot light is STILL ON!!!

Is there a trick to this? A reset button? WHAT!!!???!!!

On my old 5K's and the 100 I had, all I had to do was to put on the new pad=
s, and the light went off.

Please don't tell me I have to get back in there, and see if I accidentally=
ripped out one of the sensor wires...
