95 90q - windows and sunroof sporadically not responding

This is a sporadic phenomenon.

Not entirely debilitating, but annoying if, e.g., the
sunroof remains open in a thunderstorm or the windows
areopen I must leave my car in a hostile urban
environment.

Seems like this would be difficult to troubleshoot,
but I would not be surprised if someone here has
encountered and fixed this type of problem.

Ideas? Solutions?
