Your fellow road users won't like you for this mod.

Proper HID-equipped cars have an elaborate aiming system based on angle of
the road, speed, loading of the car etc. This system aims the headlights
several times every minute based on the aforementioned parameters. It works
in conjunction with a high-intensity headlight washer system, because light
scatter on HID units will render them downright useless, not to mention
irritating to other road users.

Several cars here come equipped with Xe headlights. Only the expensive
systems (Audi, BMW, M-B) work properly and don't blind oncoming traffic,
the cheap systems (Opel) don't. I've driven a Xe-equipped Opel, it was
cr*p. Their reflector/lens design just doesn't work.
