Type 85q suspension/brake upgrade; help needed

Hi all,

On behalf of my brother who needs new struts for his '85 Coupe quattro (=
4kq) I'd like to ask you all about your experiences with suspension upgrades.
He'll be turboing this car eventually and will be working on a brake
upgrade also. Smart move, brakes and suspension before power...

Anyway, he's not looking for a slammed car or rock-hard suspension- just
mild lowering and a firmer, more controlled ride. He's here in Holland and
we can get H&R, Eibach, Boge, Monroe, Koni etc. Any favourite combos?

Polyurethane suspension bushes are a bad idea for a road car, right?

Final question: with the turbo upgrade in mind and a limited budget, what
would you recommend for brakes? G60 two-pot fronts, and leave the rears as-is?
