20vt conversion, throttle cable suggestions?

Fellow listers,

Next week-end I'll be swapping the 3B in my 309.000 km
'85 coupe quattro and I have some things that need
clarifiction before starting to work...

First the throttle cable, do I have to use the 200's
cable? Can't the original one be retained? If I have
to use the 200 one, does the pedal attachment tab fit
my pedal (the car is very similar to a 4kq)?

Next, the brake booster.... it's a vacuum operated so
I was thinking of splicing a T piece of copper in the
hose that goes from the manifold to the ISV and so I
could still have my brake booster, otherwise braking
won't be fun! Does anyone have a better idea, other
than to pull the manifold, drill it and weld a tube on
it? I really don't want to pull the IM because this
implies a new gasket and my budget is pretty limited,
but if I have to, I'll do it I guess...

For the IC, I'll eventually use the 200 IC and so I'll
cut the hood latch part of the front core support to
allow the IC to fit in there... not the best choice
but that'll do for the moment as I lack some RR parts
to allow an RR IC to be installed...

Well, that's it for now, if anyone has some
suggestions, please tell them!

Mihnea - soon to be a 20vt-fahrer :)
