80 Q doors (sorry if this is a repost)

Ye Olde Bentlye says you can remove the door handle and parts without
removing the "component carrier" part of the door (which holds the
regulator, and is bolted with about 5000 bolts.)

The door handle is attached with a torx bolt (easy to remove), and,
apparently a clip over all the operating rod stuff.  (I'm trying to remove
the operating rod stuff to replace a couple of parts that lock the door).

However, I can't see, and can barely feel, the circlip.  Any help?
