'85 power windows/blower/sunroof dead!!

Power windows/blower/sunroof suddenly stopped working.
Checked doorjam wiring, fixed one broken wire but this
did not fix the problem.  I do not have my Bentley
with me.  This sounds like a bad ground- any ideas on
what could be the problem-driving home with windows up
will NOT be fun.
