85 4kq coolant leak

Howdy,

My car is loosing coolant.  I kind of think it's coming out of the water pump seal
   because I can't see it coming from any of the hoses.  The coolant is dripping
off of the front of the engine down to the oil pan as far as I can tell.  It's
kind of hard for me to see anything in that area.  The power steering pump is
blocking the view.  I first noticed a few drips a couple of months ago when I was
doing my clutch and had the tranny out and had the front of the engine jacked up,
but I didn't see any more once I got everything back together.  Now in the morning
there is a small puddle under the front of my car.  I've had to add about a liter
of coolant.

So, it's probably time to do my timing belt/water pump.  It seems like there are
several brands of replacement pumps available, Geba, Graf and GMB.  Is one better?
  I think I will rent tools from Blau.

Am I on the right track?  Maybe it's not the water pump and just some hose that I
can't see?  When the pump seal goes it goes right? or how long might it continue
dripping instead of gushing?  I would like to drive it about 200 miles to get to a
good place to work on it.
