I have 2-3 of those kicking around, one was OEM on my 90Q. never messed
with getting them working.
Problem is, if there was a pretty straightforward way to bust past the
security code, it wouldn't a be a security code.
It may have been written in that (probably long gone) owner's manual
once upon a time...
And the local dealer said that with the radio in hand they can dig up
the code based on serial numbers. But Ti's site makes it sound like
even that would be tough, since not only are they all shipped '1111' and
then reset... (where? Audi factory? Audi dealer?), and can be changed,
there would be no assurance the "original" code would still work.
I'd say, head the dealer... but again, Ti's pdf thing says that after 6
tries it locks up. Permanently. As in, need new radio.
