My 92 100S automatic has 125,000 miles on the original struts. On the pre =
92 Audis I have owned, the front struts went at about 90.000 miles and the =
rears about 110,000. It seems the 92 struts have a longer life. Is this t=
he experience of others? This seems to be the case also with the wheel bear=
ings, or am I just lucky?
I am looking to buy a 92 100 CS 5 speed with 127,000 miles, and pondering w=
hat will need replaced beside the struts, serpentine belt, water pump and h=
oses. Anything else on these Audis that were routine maintenance or an epi=
demic problem at about this mileage?
