A great big thanks to all the listers.
You are the reason I keep my Audi - as well as keep it running!

Turns out the problem was a loose Hall sensor, so now the car is running.
I believe the central diff is locked as I dont have the rear vacuum hose hooked up, I broken off the connector. So that will need to be fixed.
