K24 vs. RS2 spool-up...

I haven't forgotten the K24 vs. RS2 turbo spool-up thread.  So in an effort
to further muddy the waters, start another flame war, and generally piss
people off, tomorrow I'm hopefully going to do some timed K24 speed tests,
install the RS2 next week (not me, I'm going to Mexico, my mechanic), and
then some RS2 speed tests in early August.

Planned format:
Record air temp
3rd gear start at 1600 rpm onto fwy onramp (same onramp each test)
time from:

2000 to 3000 rpm
3000 to 4000 rpm
4000 to 5000 rpm

Assuming I don't drive into a ditch, more to follow...
