Please advise on A/C conversion

for an R134a conversion, everything you need should be in a "retrofit kit"
available at many auto parts stores. New o-rings are a must. More than likely
a new compressor will need to be installed. A new reciever-drier is in order
too, this part should be installed last as it collects moisture when opened.
R12 should not be released into the atmosphere, hopefully you have a way of
recovering it. The last two conversions I did took up a good portion of an
afternoon, but all in all it wasn't too bad. Proper equipment really helps,
so I would suggest having at least a set of pressure gauges.
