Hydraulic hose

There isn't a completely metal hose between the pump and either the rack or
the brake accumulator, Theron. The two hoses at the rack (high pressure
line from the pump and low pressure line to the reservoir) both have metal
ends several inches long that sort of reach over the rack itself to get to
the connection point. I think the 5ktq will have a banjo fitting with flat
surfaces that requires use of a crush washer to seal against the rack and
the banjo bolt head, while the 200 probably will have a grooved banjo
fitting that takes a couple of O-rings to accomplish the sealing. I'd
guess the 5K hose would work with NEW crush washers (much more difficult to
install on rack end, however) IF THE BANJO BOLTS ARE THE SAME SIZE. I
believe the rack attachment point has larger mating surfaces for the later
style of O-ring connection, so there should be plenty for the crush washer
to seal against. If you were trying to put a 200 hose on a 5k fitting,
there might not be a large enough spot machined in the rack to seal with
the O-Ring.
