What I do on the 4K handle, David, is squirt lube into the lock tumbler
where the key goes, into the handle lever where it disappears into the
handle and through a hole in the door that has a rubber grommet in it that,
if removed, allows access to the back side of the handle assembly. On the
latch (that grabs the pin to keep the door closed), I just spray up, down,
sideways through the various openings in its case while operating the
handle lever.
