Mihnea,
Chill out a little and analyze. The engine and transmision need to be
perfectly in line, otherwise the splines jam on the disk. You may need to
rotate the engine a little.
You will likely need to jack up on thefront of the transmission while at
the same time be lowering the engine. At some point you will find that
they go together with a nice clunk. This is of course after cursing and
swearing for several hours.

[The 3B is in the engine bay but I don't seem to be able to fit it onto the
gearbox....<snip>
Does someone have an idea about what I should do in order for the engine to
fit? The gearbox main shaft end actually enters the clutch splines but the
shaft's splines won't go in the clutch splines...
Thanks in advance for some precious advice!
Mihnea]
