Ignition coil transistor for 87 audi 5000 turbo quattro (2 pins)

Hello,

My coil transistor appears to be fried.  Does anybody know an equivalent
transistor?  The number is:  HF8311A.  My efforts have been fruitless so
far.  If a source for just the transistor is unknown, does anybody know an
audi part number for the transistor unit separate from the coil assembly?

If the above looks grim, Can I retrofit and trigger the Audi 4000 ignition
system with the mac-11 ecu?

I'm hoping someone knows a solution to my woes.  Thanks in advance.
