CGT no start might be dead, Please Help

Matt,
    What you've described are exactly the symptoms of a busted TB idler
pulley.  Seen it happen on a friends CGT.  Would spin under starter power
but would skip when running.  You can either change the pulley or remove the
pulley and go with the older (shorter) timing belt (035109119).
