Yes, Taka........That information opens up vast new areas of
experimentation....I envision dozens of tests of stuff like Mountain Dew,
Pepsi, Gatorade, not to mention degrees of effectiveness of Classic Coke vs
the new Vanilla Coke/Cherry Coke, etc Coke.
I could try Kroil on one rusty bolt, household ammonia on the next one, and
varieties of colas on a whole series of rusted parts on one of my old
diesels. The entire audifans community could get involved.
This may take some time. Perhaps the whole summer. Have you tried cold beer
on those rusty parts? Then again, what brands, imports, shall we include
ale?.............research parameters are so difficult to define.

Mandatory Audi content: My 87 5ktq doesn't have enough rust ANYWHERE to
test any of this stuff adequately. Maybe a little on some underbody
components......like the rear brake pressure adapter.........salt belt stuff.
