California Highway Patrol made my day today...
Was driving from Santa Barbara to Seattle. I was cruising along at 85-90 in N
Cal, and saw a CHP parked in the median. I killed the cruise and slowed down
in time, but the fellow in front of me wasn't quick enough - cop pulled him
over.
As the CHP is slowing down on the shoulder, he hit a piece of trash on the side
of the road and kicked it up under his car. Bounced up and down between the
car once or twice, HIT THE GAS TANK. Splits it open, and the cop's car dumps
all its gas. Serves him right.
