The Seat plant is not far from Barcelona traveling east on the highway that
has the downtown tunnel against the shipping port/coast side.  I had a good
three days traveling aorund until some bastard open my car door at a traffic
light and stole my camera bag.  I liked Barcelona until then.
After filing the police report I find out how common this theft is there,
many, many crying women and tourists. AARRRGH!  Rental car: Ford escort
wagon, then after the theft, I chucked the Hertz sign from the cargo area.
Tip:  lock doors, run red lights and remove all traces of rental car signs.
(sorta like the German tourists in Miami....................)

He's living in Barcelona, not Madrid ( I hate him
already!), and can only keep a new car tax free in Spain for 6 months.  He's
also looking at used but fairly recent cars.  He really appreciates all the
