Plastic accordian thing in front bumper 200TQ???

Well AKTE says it is a "gasket"  which is SO VERY DESCRIPTIVE.  I myself
wondered the same thing after seeing a 5kt that had been pillaged horribly
in the junkyard...looking at the bumper you could see that black rubber
bellows-looking thing.

Also looking for some enlightenment,
