yes, replace the drier.
it's cheap too. i paid $22 from Audi last time.
the parts manager just looked it up and out loud said "gosh that's cheap"
get the r-134a drier, the r-12 on is $100 more. (yikes!)
here's the p/n 813 820 191.
change the o-rings too. and make sure you damp them with refrigerant oil.
