Fuse Amperage??? for a fuse beween the battery and the car.

So your saying cranking my car for say 30 seconds is
the same as grounding my positive lead for 30 seconds?
 Hmm, last time I cranked my engine for that long the
main power feed didn't start on fire.  Unlike last
time I shorted my unfused amp wire in my old Jeep when
I stepped on the threshhold to get something off the
roof.  Luckily I had a shovel to pry the wire off the
battery.  Trust me, you need a fuse there.
