You can't count on parts availability for ANY car.  I remember a friend's
dismay when his brand now whatever car (I can't remember any longer, but I
think it was a Corvette) was down for more than a week because the model
was so new there weren't replacement parts in the system yet.  I've seen
circumstances where a part needs replacing so often it's sometimes hard to
find one immediately.  You get the "We had five, but one was bad and we
sold the last of the other four yesterday.  Now they're on backorder" story.
