If I had not been trying to make FedX & some other deadlines with
uncooperative printers & cameras I would have done the search better & not
bothered you -- but I feel better about purchasing the parts myself with
your recommendations

Rod had the evaporator + dryer OE with the part # that the mechanic wanted
for a fraction of the price he quoted so I decided to go ahead & do it --
tho some do call me nuts for doing this on an 88 -- no AC in a Houston
summer also is nuts so it was the evaporator or the car

I don't know how happy the mechanic is about this maneuver, but he seemed
pleased to have TPC info I provided
