After being feed a bunch of hogwash from the alignment
shop about the camber not being adjustable, I decided
to look for myself. Well it is adjustable, but it's
all the way in, and with the lowering springs (Eibach
Pro Kit), it's still way off. From using my level it
looks like it needs to go in about 1/4" more on the
front and 1/8" more on the back. Have all you lowered
type 89 people experienced this? Any solutions other
than camber plates? I was thinking about taking the
little piece that connects the A arm and the ball
joint, and expanding the little ovals that the bolts
go through so I can push it in a little more. Anyone?
Ever since I've had the springs on, I go tires like
crazy, always wearing on the inside edge the worst.
Now I know why. I've had the car aligned a few times
in the few years, but I think the shops just screwed
me and left the camber off.
TIA,
=====
