Hi Dennis,
The CIS-E III system on Dave's car is supposed to run with the idle screw
all the way in. The ecu manages idle thru the ISV completely. If there
are no air leaks in the system and the idle mixture is set correctly (0 mA
at the DPR), the ecu should maintain the idle. In my 87.5 CGT it will even
maintain idle in 1st gear, which works great in rush hour traffic.
