Listen to Doyt and take it to an AUDI mechanic (not just
any mechanic, as Audis have lots of quirks) and pay him/her
for an evaluation.  If the car isn't too bad, wait 5 days and
offer the owner $500. Then take the money you saved and
put it towards fixing the problems.

Or, take your time and keep looking. There's lots of cars
out there.
