Rob Hi,

An easy and convenient way is to syphon the excess oil through the dipstick
hose.

You can use a length of water dripping hose as used for irrigating gardens
(5mm diameter) and a large syringe (the ones used for injecting medicine to
horses) to syphon the oil out.
