Sealant on exhaust/turbo gaskets?

Thanks, guys. I'll avoid any sealants. When I got the motor back from
the engineer he went on about it being a good idea to put high-temp
sealant (Hylomar?) in there, but I needed to clear that up with the
folks in the know 'cos, ofcourse, I'm losing faith in any knowledge I
got from the engineer judging by how much work I still was left to do on
my own. :P
