HELP! Need more low end power!

OK.  I just auto-x'ed my stock UrQ last night for the
first time, and got my ass handed to me!  I knew this
car was bad at the low end, but this was rediculous!
I currently have plans to put an MC fuel and ignition
system on my stock block (so I can get some knock
sensing and better boost control), but what else can I
do to get more low end?  Is there something I can do
to a K-26 to get it to spool quicker than stock.  I
have heard the K-24 will do this ,but heat soaks to
fast.  I would love to hear some opinions on how to
make a 10v with better low end (without breaking my
budget).  I will pobably auto-x this car more than I
will track it.  Any ideas?  Thanks.
