If you want it to run, yes. I routinely change to the 85 deg switch. Try
cleaning the dirt off the current mount and apply thermal grease (like from
a PC's cpu) to the base before screwing it in. Then bend the mount so its
closer to the head. My Mom's NG equipped 100 Avant runs more often
now. If you want to guarantee it will run, move the switch over to the
exhaust manifold side, but you'll need to make a new bracket, there's stuff
in the way where the switch used to mount.
