Looking for MC or MC-2 timing maps, and advice

I've decided to put a Haltech IG5 in for ignition
timing. I've been playing with the demo software, and
it doesn't look too hard to tune. Anyways, I'm going
to try and install it this weekend, and I'd love to
have some stuff to reference while I'm tuning it in.
I should be able to get pretty close with my knock
light I have hooked up right now. I'm going to put it
on a dyno and tune it in for good once I'm sure that
everything is ready to be put in it's final place.
Also I've heard some people say they disconnect the
driveshaft on their quattros and use a 2 wheel dyno.
How does this work, do you have to manually lock the
diff or something? We have a few 4 wheel dynos around
here, but they are three times the cost of the two
wheel models.
TIA,
