Funny, you bring this up. Mine is starting to sag. An aoutomotive interiors
place says the only way to fix this is to replace it. $275 to re-apolster
(sp) the whole interior ceiling minus the sun roof and the visors. Doesn't
sound too bad to me. They said it will take them a whole day to do the job.
I guess what happens is there is a foam backing on the fabric that is glued
to the particle board. The fabricx delaminates from this. According to
this installer, re-gluing doesn't work as it only lasts temporarily.
he told me the only temorary fix are thumb tacks. Anyone know of some
decorative Audi emblem thumb tacks :-)
