1990 90q power locks weirdness

Well I've tackled my 90q's power lock system, and I want to make it perfect.
Here's the problem.
The power locks work. But when you actuate them to lock the doors (LOCK only)
from either door, the pump does not shut off until its auto shut off kicks
in, after 15 seconds of running, I think.
Unlocking the doors--everything appears to work normally, exceopt I can hear
a loud hiss coming from the pump after the cycle, something I don't remember
on my old 90q.
When locking the doors, I can hear a faint hiss, not as loud as the finale
hiss after unlocking the doors. Also, the passenger's front lock seems to
take a bit longer sometimes (locking only), a few seconds I'd guess. I took
apart the door to watch it run, and it seems to struggle a bit to pull the
lock down.
I've checked 3 out of 4 doors for vacuum line leaks, and can't find any. I
also checked the pump lines in the trunk, no leaks as far as I can tell, no
crusty lines, no breaks. I ran my hadns all over the lines while the pump was
running to feel for air flowing out and couldn't feel any. My only indication
that there might be a leak is the faint hissing during locking (and while the
pump continues to run after the doors are all locked) and the loud hiss heard
right before the pump shuts off during unlocking and after the doors are all
unlocked.
Any ideas? TIA.
Megan
