MC1 - while I'm at it..

Hi Ben,
I would specifically recommend against using the Total Seal rings. I have
heard several horror stories about them and no positive anecdotes. Most
common complaint seems to be that they never seal - most recent incident
resulted in 1 qt / 700 mi oil consumption in a motor that was supposedly
prepped to be TS friendly. The other problem is that the rings are 1/2
thickness at the overlapping point and more likely to fail there. A fair
amount of total blow-by on a healthy motor is due to the ring shifting
position (bottom to top of land) and even gapless rings can't address this.
Best suggestion is to leave well enough alone and let the thing die of
natural causes 100k mi or so from now :-)
