Well, when I first started using MSN and Hotmail I got allot of spam too
(porn sites especially). I discovered that there is a place on the
preferences page, where you can opt to have your information listed in the
MSN and Hotmail directories, or NOT listed. Once I changed that - the spam
pretty much stopped within 1 week.
Now all I ever get on my hotmail account is "hotmail staff" E-mails - about
2 per month. I only use my MSN Passport for MSN Messenger, and not as an
E-mail address. I don't like web-based E-mail, and I don't want to pay for
having it forwarded to a POP mailbox.
