    Yeah I didn't prep the cylinder walls at all on my 80 turbo engine,
mistake for sure, first engine I ever built.  Though it was not eating oil
as I noticed, it was getting some blow by into the crank vent system for
sure, though it wasn't as bad as I could have imagined.  After 3-4 cranks it
hit near perfect compression.  Now someday I will get that engine apart and
really see how my first build went.  Honing is good, do it:)
