plug leads

Listers,

My ignition leads are shot, and dealer prices are way high, are there other
sources (VW parts)??
The car is an 85 CQ, and the leads look different than others I have seen.
They have a metal shroud around the spark plug end and use a small spring
clip to attach to the thread on the end of the spark plug (small cap
removed from plug during install).

I have an '83 80Q and dad has an '84 CGT and both of these use standard
leads. I can steal the parts off the 80Q, but would have to take the
distributor cap (and coil?) as well, as the plugs are different for that
end as well. The distributor on the 80Q also has a metal shield on it and
an earthing (?) strap...

So, are there alternative (cheaper) sources for the leads with the funny
plugs, or will the distributor cap etc from the 80Q fit my CQ...
