Sandblasting is sweet!

People Hi,

Just for your information KARCHER (the German makers of pressure washer
systems) also offers a water pressure washer system based sandblaster.
You just add a special nozzle sucking sandblasting material that you put in
a backet and it throws it with pressure (and water) on the surface you want
to sandblast. I have tried it on the wheel rims of my 8X8 ARGO vehicle and
some iron strengthening beams of the Landies and it worked like a dream. It
was requires a good drying up of the metallic surfaces afterwards (with a
heat gun this is easy)

I always rustproof (or better still hod dip galvanize) the metalic surfaces
that I work on before painting them so I do not expect to see rust
afterwards

Take care
Pantelis
