rebuilding rear calipers

Today I did that C-clip on the second caliper. I took 5 min! Yesterday I
said to myself: ":You, fool, should've bought new or rebuilt calipers". It
was a minute of weakness and I am taking those words back. I still can not
finish assembling calipers because I am still looking for cheaper price for
rebuld kits (boot and piston seal). If I don't find it tomorrow I will buy
it for $25x2=$50 (almost a rebuilt caliper).
I have a question for people who did it and still remember details. What
size of O-ring (which seals e-brake mechanism from brake fluid) on the
threaded shaft did you use? Shaft diameter is 10mm but 10mm ID O-rings I
bought seem too loose. At least, it is more loose than original O-ring. It
even visually is slightly bigger than the oringinal O-ring. 3/8'' ID (9.5
mm) O-ring is slightly smaller, maybe because it it thiner (1.56 mm against
1.8-2 mm). Closest metric sizes I saw are 9.1 and 10.1 mm which do not
fit. Any thoughts?
By the way, the Ethylen Propylen O-rings should be used in brake fluids.
DO NOT USE Buna-N (Nitrile) or Neopren or Viton O-rings. This is what I
found doing research. Please, let me know if yuor experience says something
different. For example, you used neoprene O-rings for years without
problem.
Thank you.
