I'll second that, I started my sockets off with a 70 GBP set of Halfords
pro stuff - about 4 years ago, only broken one so far, a 13mm 3/8 drive
socket, and that was whilst torqueing a head bolt - oops I'll use a 1/2
drive next time! They sell repair kits for the ratchet mechanisms for all
the drivers too.
Their ratcheting spanners are nice too, very slim profile compared to
other ratcheting spanners available. They don't look very serviceable
though, which is a pity.
Cheerio,
Graham.
