I don't have these Audi's greases. I put Valvoline SynPower in e-brake cavity,
I have special grease for pins. Now question arises: what composition O-ring I
should use on big threaded shaft (which seals e-brake cavity from brake
fluid)? My research shows that it should be EPDM (Ethylen-Propylene rubber)
which is the best in brake fluids. But I can not find out how it works with
synthetic grease. It is not good for petroleum greases. There is not
synthetic oil/grease in compatibility chart and I don't know what is in
synthetic lubs. It is scary to think what happen if that o-ring disintegrate
and you lose brakes on a highway.
