Buying a new S4

No offense Brett, but dealers are getting quite near MSRP for these cars.
Have you personally looked for one lately? They're not really around at
every corner to be picked and chosen from. Many dealers don't have any left,
and as you well know, they're not being made any more. If you find one
selling them for 4-5% over, let me know, I'll buy two, and re-sell them at
full MSRP. Personally, if it were my money, I'd look for a clean,
low-mileage '01, preferrably Audi Assured with the warranty to 100K and an
extra 2 years tacked on....Nogaro blue with the black/blue sport interior
thankyouverymuch. I think it's pretty hot, and no, I'm not some 20 year old
pimple-faced goof that has rich parents and a bottomless pit for a wallet.
I do commend you on your recommendation of driving schools over performance
mods. That car has plenty for just about any driver that's not a veteran of
at least a handful of classes. Most people unfortunately don't really even
get to experience how good the car is, because they go and chip it before
it's even broken in. I can tell anyone from experience that a 40K mile old
S4 will literally spank a new one. You miss that, ane never really know what
you've got if you modify it too soon.

Sue, good luck with your purchase/search, and if you need any advice from a
dealer's point of view, let me know.
