200 wheel upgrade

I have a '90 200 (10v) with stock BBS 15in wheels. I can get a deal on
nice 17 by 7.5 wheels with 35mm offset. Will these work with the car
without rubbing anywhere. What tire size should I use? There doesn't seem
to be much room in the back fender well so will 215/45, or even 225/45
tires work. The stock tires are 205/60 R15. Am I going to see lot more
road harshness with this wheel/tire setup?

So if anyone put that size wheel on their 5000TQ/200 please let me know,
