You mean the Cayenne? Its like the world's worst april fools joke in history.
It will probably be one of the few SUVs around that could give the
Big Baby a run for its money at the stoplight. The 450hp twin turbo
V8 would play a minor role; it'd win every time because I'd be too
busy laughing to notice the light change. Still...
"Yes, hello, AMG? We'd like that 'fastest suv' title, please. We'll
be over this afternoon, if you don't mind."
Kind of odd that in the non-turbo version they use a 4.5L V8 rather
than borrowing the Audi powerplant; I guess there's pride, and then
there's _pride_.
Pretty pathetic, if you ask me, that it took them 3 tenths of a
liter more to match the current output of the Audi V8...
