Went to the Minneapolis Auto Show tonight. I had the opportunity to
check out quite a few cars and Sport Futilities.
Comparing the Chevy Trailblazer, Isuzu Axiom, Mercedes M-class, Saturn
Vue and Buick Rendezvous. I'd have to take the Buick, not as much
horsepower, but way better room inside and comfort for tall people. I
also have to say it sucks being 6'3" tall, every convertible I sat in, I
was looking right at the top header of the windshield.

Definitely had fun checking out the offerings from VAG.

Volkswagen had a W8 Passat 4Motion sitting there, Yee-haw! That would be
nice, 271 horses. Just thinking how much fun that would be in a Jetta
(which I've heard rumors of), or even a Golf. The Golf with a W8 and AWD
would be sooo sweet.

Audi had the S6Avant, very sweet, but I still like the 2.7tt better. Too
bad the only way to get the 2.7tt in the Avant is to go with the
Allroad. Speaking of the Allroad, my wife now wants me to get one, gee,
and she will really have to twist my arm. :-) I'm still going to wait a
couple years, just bought a house a few months ago and my wife is
getting back into the workforce after being laid off. They had an A4
Cabriolet on a platform, and some posters of same. Of course I grabbed
one of the posters. Now I just need to find the rest of my Audi posters
and put them in some frames.

It's also nice to have a professional looking 35mm SLR camera, it's
amazing how people stay out of your way when you are aiming the camera.
Just now thought that I should have gotten some pics of the W8 engine.
It's amazing how short that thing is.

Well, have to go, the SO is looking over my shoulder and the cat wants
attention too.
